Three routes out of Nevada City onto the dirt and gravel roads above the Yuba — canyon shelf roads, forest service doubletrack and a lot of climbing. Mostly dirt. All epic.

The short course. Still a real day out, but finishable on a fitness base rather than a training block.

The middle distance, and the one most riders should target. Ten thousand feet of climbing over sixty-two miles of dirt.

Know before you go

Logistics

Critical point gear drop You supply a labelled box of your own supplies; we place it at the critical point on course.

Surface Predominantly dirt and gravel forest roads, with paved connectors. Tyres: 40mm minimum, 45mm+ recommended.

Start & finish Nevada City, CA. Exact staging location and start times to be confirmed.

Cutoffs To be confirmed. Expect a hard cutoff at the critical point for the 85-mile route.
